\u201cIn 2021, our adventure on Bonaire began. Bas had left his job in education to write a photography book<\/a><\/span>, and Jessica brought her work as a marketing and communications specialist to the island. Alongside our jobs, we had plenty of free time to explore. Half-jokingly, we said we wanted to \u2018complete\u2019 Bonaire. We\u2019ve come a long way \u2014 and we\u2019re still discovering new places and activities.<\/p>\n

Over the years, we\u2019ve welcomed many friends from the Netherlands to our island. We loved sharing the richness of our new home with them. That enthusiasm sparked the birth of HopiBonaire. Our first tour took place on January 18, 2023.<\/p>\n

On our tours, we love visiting places that remain hidden to many visitors, simply because they\u2019re not along the main roads. These spots often reveal even more beauty and fascinating backstories. Because even in our new life on Bonaire, we still love telling stories!\u201d<\/p>\n
