Playa Frans or Washikemba
During all our tours, you will visit extraordinary places far beyond the beaten path. There, you can leave the crowds behind and find peace in authentic Bonaire. For those who truly want to soak this in, we recommend adding Playa Frans in the north or Washikemba in the east.
Excursion to Playa Frans
At the end of a seven-kilometer dirt road lies Playa Frans. The underwater world is breathtaking and inland, there is a beautiful saliña where you can admire many waterbirds. Along the road, you will stop at some beautiful places. The visit to Playa Frans can be combined with The North Tour or a scenic Guided hike.
Excursion to Washikemba
In the east lies Washikemba, a small former plantation tucked away off the beaten path. It’s packed with stunning sights: enjoy the wild sea crashing against the cliffs, admire the spectacular blowhole, and drive through breathtaking scenes and moonlike landscapes. A visit to Washikemba adds a whole new dimension to your cruise stop on Bonaire, and can be combined with The North Tour and The South Tour.
