With an area of less than 300 square kilometers (a litle over 100 square miles), Bonaire is modest in size. The island is approximately as large as Kos and one and roughly twice as big as Martha’s Vineyard. Distances are short: in just half an hour, you can drive from the capital Kralendijk to the northern Rincon or to the southern tip. It takes only fifteen minutes to reach the eastern coast. However, Bonaire seems much larger. This is due to the numerous vantage points with panoramic views and the breathtaking seascapes.
