We love to show you the places that are not easily accessible with your rental car. Our tours cover a large part of off-road Bonaire. For those who want to explore off-road Bonaire to the fullest, we can take you to Playa Frans in the north and Lac Cai in the southeast.
Excursion to Playa Frans
At the end of a seven-kilometer dirt road lies Playa Frans. The underwater world is breathtaking and inland, there is a beautiful saliña where you can admire many waterbirds. Along the road, you will stop at some beautiful places. The visit to Playa Frans can be combined with The Magical North Tour or a scenic Guided hike.
Excursion to Lac Cai
In the southeast, a long unpaved road leads to Lac Cai, a small beach. Along the way, you drive past the stunning mangrove area and the flamingos that find their food there. In the calm waters of the bay, you can snorkel over the seagrass beds and alongside the mangroves. Who knows, you might spot a turtle, queen conch, or starfish! The visit to Lac Cai can be combined with The Gems of the East Tour or a drive through the kunuku, the countryside of Bonaire.
