Washington-Slagbaai Tour
Full-day tour, 8-9 hrs.
A tour is the perfect way to discover Washington Slagbaai National Park. We can go hiking, climbing, sight-seeing, snorkeling, birdwatching, visiting the museum, and enjoy the natural beauty Bonaire’s national park has to offer. Our fully catered tour to the national park is tailored to your wishes and pace. You will experience a full day of fun and adventure because we are never on a tight schedule.

Description
In Washington Slagbaai National Park, two unpaved routes lead you through impressive landscapes, rock formations, bays, beaches, historic buildings, inland lakes, and cliffs. With some luck, we may spot flamingos, caracaras, pelicans, and iguanas along the way. The binoculars which we take along will come in handy!
Are you in for a hike? Exploring the park on foot allows you to experience the beauty of the landscape even more intensely. We can even climb mount Brandaris, the highest point of Bonaire, if you let us know in advance.
Let us know your wishes and we will plan accordingly. A visit to Washington is a must-do during your Bonaire get away!

Guided snorkel
The Washington Slagbaai National Park offers excellent snorkeling opportunities. To make sure you get the most out of this experience, we are happy to come along and guide you.
During the guided snorkel, your guide will take underwater photos. We will send them to you after the tour, so you’ll also have a beautiful memento of this adventure.
Don’t have snorkeling gear? No problem! You can rent snorkeling gear from us.

Alternative Tour when the Park is Closed
Even if Washington-Slagbaai remains closed after heavy rainfall, you’re in good hands with HopiBonaire. In that case, we offer you a fully-fledged alternative off-road tour through the diverse nature of Bonaire.
Similar to the park, during our alternative tour, we visit a blowhole, a plantation house, a boka, stunning sea views, cliffs, and the rugged eastern coastal plains. You’ll also learn about the geology and history of Bonaire. As a bonus, you’ll visit the indian drawings! The guided snorkeling tour will also proceed as planned. That’s the power of HopiBonaire!
